THE DONKEY
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The
animal cried piteously
for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to
do. Finally, he decided
the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered
up anyway; it just
wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help
him. They all grabbed a
shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At
first, the donkey realized
what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to
everyone's amazement he
quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked
down the well. He was
astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt
that hit his back, the
donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it
off and take a step
up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on
top of the animal, he
would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon,
everyone was amazed as
the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and
happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of
dirt. The trick to getting
out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up.
Each of our troubles
is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest
wells just by not
stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a
step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less

The story's sequel .....
The donkey later came back, and bit the farmer who had
tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got
infected, and the farmer
eventually died in agony from septic shock.
MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:
When you do something wrong, and try to cover your
ass, it always comes back
to bite you.

lately, despite the busy-ness and frantic situation i'm in,
i still read blogs of friends & fellow mass commers.
what did i see: hurtful feelings of self being splashed all over their blogs.
spamming. outbursts of sad stories of your part. literary works.
how i felt: what is blog exactly for?
many times, there's urge to just tag the person how i truly feel.
but after 2 years into mass comm, i'm taught a painful lesson.
"truth always hurt".
and people always misunderstand.
i wonder if it's the age that make people behave childishly.
i used to get spams too.
i used to think i'm being hated.
i used to suspect whoever the one i thought was the spammer.
but seriously, who cares about it?
so what you know it?
are you going to confront the person?
or are you going to go around and tell people how baddie this person is?
UNlESS you can be sooo sure the person is the one who did it.
but again, how sure can you be?
so just let it be that way.
the person wants to have no life to fart about,
let the person be.
the person wants to behave like one kind of an ass,
let the person be.
if you are being maligned for doing something you did not do,
and people whom you thought were nice actually disappoint you,
what can you do?
feel sad? disappointed? what else?
nothing else, my dear.
some people really abuse blogs.
really.
maybe same for me.
i choose not to speak up when i'm not supposed to.
i choose not to interfere when i'm not supposed to.
i choose to shut up when it's time to shut up.
look, why make things complicated?
you have enuff to think about with all the work we are having.
i'm impressed we have the energy to do some other stuff.
i'm impressed i can still blog so far when feat 2 outline is due tmr.
i'm truly impressed.
still, i believe in the people i believe.
i don't wanna start a blog war here.
neither do i want to offend anyone.
anyway, blog is about how you truly feel, and not about spams & scolding people, isn't it?

i thank whoever & whatever that grant me such nice classmates.
swensens' in town with -
lins, kelly, clarice, jiewei, lisa, trina, sarah, dan, josh & wils!
it was quite fun - hanging out & chill & EAT!
so scary - the way they "torture" the food, "devour" the food.
omg.
heehee.
after sarah & lisa left, we went shopping!!!
shopping with the guys can be fun you know.
i rather shop WITH them than they shop with ME!
hahaha!
plus they like to "poke" fun of each other.
hahahas.
get what i mean? *winks
after clarice & lins parted, we went toast @taka for a drink.
fairuz & awah came too!
after that, we parted ways -
me & kelly went to far east to shop.
then gelare to have half priced waffles.
Lolx.
should have seen the way we stuffed ourselves man.
okay dokay.
i really love my class.
it's quite sad the year is ending and we soon join new classes.
but all i want to tell em' is, i am indeed very lucky to have them in my class this year.
despite all the tough going, it's always nice to go to school happily knowing you have nice classmates who will make you laugh & be happy.

the love to cook runs in my family.
we love to explore new ways of cooking the same old stuff.
like, macaroni.
people boil em' & eat em' together with sauce.

my dad just made fried mee sua.

see, we are food lovers.

cny's coming - at the sight of goodies wherever i go makes me drool.

just when most of us struggle to work against time, this clubbers' night is awesome.

Haven't been updating.
Busy busy busy - enjoying!
LOL.
okay, after PR on friday, i went for light shopping w my family.
then met my dear crapbebz at my fren's place.
i joined in the cooking - though no cheesie macaroni, i made tomato gravy w macaroni.
sounds good ye!
it was a hell fun time -
went to watch meet the fockers midnight show.
we were fockerised!
it was bloody hilarious - & not exactly slow-movin as heard.
we all had a good laugh at the start of the year!
me & some crapbebz stayed over @ fren's place.
we had some booze & crap session.
ended up "drunk" and had to be carried into the room.
still, we pillow-fought, crapped, & laughed!
the rain whole time did not really dampen our spirits.
with little sleep, i went out with my family & aunt's family before sending my dearest ann off at the airport.
i joined my family at paya lebar for "shopping spree".
bought myself a skirt.
super doper tired.
and sleepy, of course.
actually, still have get to gether plans today - sunday.
but well, ..... have to stay home and do FEATURE OUTLINE.
bloody.
plus i've got UFS test, which i know nuts abt.
double bloody.
Oh well.
school's starting in the new year.
better study hard lingers.
