Second Chance_
I have been working on a documentary, "A Road Less traveled", for my final project in Documentary Production. Together with Elyn the Editor, Charmain the Director and Renick the Cameraman, we hope to bring across the message, of giving ex-convicts a second chance.
Coincidentally, something happened lately and everyone in school is talking about it. Everyday, everywhere, people talk about this incident and her.
My point of view on this : People have to pay for their wrong deed, and yes they do deserve a second chance. But it applies differently on individual cases.
Some people around me have been mean, and I can't really blame them. Afterall, "she does deserves it". But if whatever she does is wrong and unforgivable, why do we still want to carry on her mistake and be mean to her (or the people around her)?
I mean, yes, she deserves it, yadayadayada...and she's probably not punished enough. But just leave the mean comments in your pockets. Do something constructive if you think she needs to be punished more.
And in my opinion, she hasn't seem to repent. Sigh. It's a sad truth - and probably it will make more people hate her. To some, she hasn't lost enough. To some others, she needs to be pitied. Everyone has different viewpoints on this matter.
Okay, she hasn't been popular all these while - so this matter didn't seem to make the matter worse or whatever. There's one more semester to go, and how is she going to face anybody? For me, I rather not see her because I know I will only smile and be kind. And that is not exactly how I really feel.
I hope this whole matter will blow soon. In my opinion, she should no longer stay in MCM. I mean, if cheating in exams and plagarising means being expelled from school, her deeds will mean how many expulsions?
Again, this is my point of view on my blog.
Just for people out there, do spare a thought for the people around her. After all, they are the innocent ones. Give them some slack alright. :)
It's break time! Media Law exam is on its way, but everyone shouldn't be bogged down by it. It's time to enjoy and have fun - it's now or never!
