Khao San_

The place where I had my SGD$8 (inclusive of tips) Thai massage.
The place where we spent half an hour shopping only 3 stalls.
The place where I first bought something.
The place where I wish I spent more time but didn't manage to.

I miss Khao San!

In loving memory_

I have a blind fish, if some of you remember. Although Dad wanted to set it free, I pitied it and decided to keep rearing it.

Today, it did a very disgusting thing. So disgusting I didn't know how to describe the whole feeling.

It ate up my bigger fish. I couldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes.

It was a GOLDfish. The scales were floating on the water in the fish tank. Yuckies! I was spooked when I tried to carry the remains. In the end, my Dad had to do the job. Thanks Pa!

I think, that dead fish must have been the one who ate up the blind fish's eyes. So, the blind fish was looking for its eyes in the dead fish.

Must be it.

The Grand Palace in Bangkok. Simply fascinating.

Colours on the road_

Pink, orange, yellow, green. I love the bright colours on the cabs. I think they add colours to the hazy roads. :)

But I never got to sit in it.

Great food_

The char siew rice they sell is fabulous. So licking fingers! The thick sweet gravy scores the most points. SEDAP!!!!!

Second best; it costs only 25bht - which is about SGD$1.04.

I don't feel like touching the char siew rice in food courts anymore.

Leaving on an aeroplane_

I am going to Thailand from 14 to 17 October to spend my 20th birthday. I'm now in a delirious state of mind; I can't believe I'm finally going for my holidays.

This feels damn good. Ah!

Notice_

Who's interested in doing volunteer work;

6th November - bringing children to a farm in Malaysia

13th November - accompanying old folks at some event ( I think)?

I had my fair share of fun today, at a children's home. It's this kind of simple thing that makes me appreciate life and what I have more. :)

Bits_

It's like one more month before school starts again (and for the last time) and I realise I haven't accomplished much of what I wanted to.

Ice skating? Cheese macaroni? Visit Wils? Thailand trip? Batam getaway? Cycling? Tanning?......

Day after day, I sit at home (if I'm not going anywhere, doing anything), watch teevee, eat, drink, sleep, surf, gossip, chat... It's nothing constructive at all!!!!! (It's just constructing fats in my body, grr.)

I rented a car over the weekend and brought my family out for a ride. We went to Geylang Serai and the Hari Raya lights were marvellous. I've only seen CNY and Xmas lights but never of any other occasion. We also been to Geylang, and watched prostitutes. It was quite bad, because my eyes must be on the road and not on the "chicks".

Mount Faber was also one of our many destinations - and the scenary almost took my life away. At such great heights, I could feel the world in my hands. I was ecstatic.

I was driving my boredom away, and it was a well-spent weekend. All I need is to spend more time with the people I truly miss and I haven't met for donkey years.

Tomorrow it's Puasa first day - I have to train myself to resist food in front of Muslim people. :) I always, ALWAYS without fail, offer them food - at the wrong time.
